Welcome to Putnam County Operation Life
The 2011 Indiana Emergency Response Conference Award program took place on Friday, August 19th at the Crowne Plaza, Grand Hall at Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.
Terry Rake, Executive Director with the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association, presents the Ambulance Provider Public Relations Award to Putnam County Operation Life. Kraig Kinney, Executive Director accepted the award.

Operation Life is certified to provide EMT-Basic Advanced, ALS non-transport, and ALS Transport services. Our staff is comprised of full-time employees, part-time employees, and volunteers.
Operation Life has a fleet of six ambulances. Our new units are full-size module ambulances while the older units are mini module ambulances. We staff two 24 hour ALS ambulances and one 22 hour ALS ambulance. A fourth BLS ambulance is staffed during the weekdays should there be a larger load of scheduled convolesant transports.
The Main Station for Operation Life is located at 513 S. Bloomington Street in Greencastle, Indiana. Operation Life has the 911 contract for the entire county, so to cut down response times, we also have stations in Cloverdale, IN and in Bainbridge, IN.
